Plot
Five Years ago the other Dinobots blame Grimlock for infecting them and several others with Nucleon years earlier, which, whilst making Slag stronger has made him feral and trapped in his beast mode. Grimlock leaves, but promises to make everything better.
In the present Scorponok has captured Grimlock and tries to make him join his new group, but the Dinobot keeps declining. Scorponok explains how his old head was reattached to a replica of his original body, but when he was reattached he managed to take control and brainwashed the populace of Nebulos.
On Cybertron Hot Rod and the others wonder what to do about the intruder in the Hall of Silence, but in the end Hot Rod reluctantly orders for the charges set around the hall to explode, hoping to kill the intruder and destroy the Matrix Reservoir inside Thunderwing's remains.
On Earth the Autobots dump all the dead Transformers who Megatron revived inside a pit, including some Autobots and Megatron. Optimus is distressed about having to kill Megatron the way he did, but Kup and the others try to console him, shortly afterwards Circuit Smasher and some other humans tell Optimus that they voted, and the Autobots have to leave, as they don't want them involved in the rebuilding of Earth at all.
The Autobots finish their dumping of the dead and leave before Magnus can blast the pit, vaporizing the remains, however Starscream wakes up before he's hit and flies off.
On Nebulos Grimlock wakes up and tries to escape, but encounters Slag, who he assumes is under Scorponok's control, however when the other Dinobots arrive and they charge Grimlock, still blaming him for everything. Just as they kill him, Grimlock is awoken by Scorponok, who had him inside the Mindscape for torture, after which Grimlock agrees to join him.
Scorponok reveals that he plans to turn all Cybertronians into Decepticons using a Gene Key designed by Zarak before his death.
On Earth Roadbuster and Sunstreaker are patrolling around the Ark and lament on how it's impossible to patrol the whole area as it's so large, and just as they say so, Starscream arrives in the area, slowly followed by Galvatron!

Notes
- Not everyone who was revived by Nucleon were affected, Snarl, Sludge and Swoop don't appear to be affected at all, unlike several others
- Seriously! Why does Scorponok just happen to have a replica of Grimlock's body?!?!
- I doubt that that explosion will have killed Soundwave for some reason
- Not all the transformers revived by Megatron were Decepticons, as Grotusque was amongst the army of the dead, meaning that for some reason Grimlock decided not to revive him back in the old days (jerk)
- Optimus doesn't want his injuries fixed in memory of those who died...wonder how long that'll last?
- Yay...Optimus is depressed again after Ratchet dies....how many times is this now?
- Why did the Autobots not take the bodies of the dead Autobots back to Cybertron with them? Why have them vaporized too?!
- Wonder if it's a coincidence that the Gene Key program is shaped like a stylized key?
- Why didn't the Autobots update their alternate modes for icy terrain for their perimeter checks around the Ark...or you know, use guys who can fly or something?
