IDW - Robots in Disguise #34

Title: The Crucible
Written by: John Barber
Art by: Livio Ramondelli
Letters by: Tom B. Long
Editor: Carlos Guzman
Plot
Optimus Prime and Alpha Trion leave the damaged Ark-7 on Prime's personal ship the Skyroller, and park it on the opposite side of the Earth's Moon to the Ark so they can talk in private, at Trion's request.
Once alone, Alpha Trion tells Optimus about the final battle between the 13 Tribes of  Cybertron, and how Nova Major and Galvatron became allies during it. After defeating Onyx Prime's troops the duo are joined by Alpha Trion, who announces himself as the last Prime on Cybertron, to his knowledge. (which shocks Optimus in the present). After a small off-screen incident between Nova and Trion, the three start off on long trek to Old Kalis, and Onyx Prime's throneroom, where they find it deserted, except for Rhinox who stayed behind to guard it.
After discovering the place deserted Nova decides to take the moment to put into motion his plans for Functionism, putting everyone who was left from the 13 tribes into one society, but all in their own set places (this angers Optimus in the present, as he realizes that Trion was the one who allowed Nova to be a Prime, and to do all his future evil acts).

After a while, Nova Prime has befriended Jhiaxus, who begins work on creating a Gestalt for Nova Prime, and asks Galvatron if he knows about Nexus Prime's Enigma of Combination, which Galvatronn claims that Nexus took it with him when he fled Cybertron, as he couldn't find it when he ransacked his fortress before.
This slip of the tongue allows Alpha Trion to realize what really happened, and deduces that Galvatron in fact killed Nexus Prime himself, and stole the Enigma, as it's name should have made people believe that it was a concept not an object, as designed.

Optimus wonders in the present why Galvatron would have stolen the Enigma, since he hates the idea of combiners or altering the Cybertronian form. Alpha rion continues, by saying that Galvatron realized his mistake, and launched the Enigma into space, and it landed, most unusually on Earth. He also reveals that Shockwave discovered where the remaining surviving Primes had fled to following the war, and where the Enigma was sent, and seeded those planets with his Regenesis Ores.

Alpha isn't sure if Galvatron knows the Enigma is on Earth or not, but knows they must recover it before he does, but also asks Optimus if he intends to tell Prowl (the head of Devastator) about the Enigma and this lost history, which he retorts with a "why wouldn't I?". However, unknown to both of them, Cosmos is floating nearby in stealth paint, having recorded and passed on the entire conversation to Prowl already.....

Notes
  • Alpha Trion is revealed to be one of the Original 13 Primes in this continuity, and name checks Liege Maximo, Megatronus, Prima, Onyx Prime, Nexus Prime and Solus Prime as members too, lining up with their Aligned counterparts. The only one who could be different is Optimus, but we never know! Remember, this is the continuity that gave us a friendly, fun loving Shockwave for a while!
  • Nexus Prime uses a character model based on his Aligned counterpart, as seen from the Covenant of Primus book.
  • Sky Lynx apparently eats his Energon out of a bowl...how dignified!
  • The Citadel of Light looks an awful lot like the Star Saber doesn't it?
  • Nova Prime (then Major) is shown in his alternate mode for the first time here, as well as in his smaller robot mode (missing the cape, face mask etc)
  • The Mournsong, which is mentioned by Rhinox was Onyx Prime's artefact from Primus in the Aligned continuity.
  • Considering the Monstructor Six's alternate modes, and Nova's feelings towards the beast Transformers, its likely that they weren't volunteers for the Monstruuctor gestalt as previously believed.
  • It appears that Nexus Prime's Headmasters are made similarly to the ones on Earth by Scorponok in the early IDW stories, where they are a mixture of Cybertronian and organic beings. This does sort of make you wonder whether Scorponok or the Machination actually unearthed the Enigma at some point....
  • Cosmos appears to be quite willing to spy on Optimus on Prowl's orders here...wonder if there's something more sinister afoot?
  • It's revealed that Alpha Trion's mission was to look for the Enigma of Combination.
  • Megatron is mentioned to have NOT named himself after Megatronus (The Fallen) here, despite that being the case in the Aligned continuity
  • Why does Optimus just happen to have a hologram of Devastator on his person?
  • The concept of Information Creep, previously shown in MTMTE, Retribution, and even Five Faces of Darkness, is used again here to explain why the events of the past are considered myth by many modern day bots.
  • The concept of "only a Prime can kill a Prime" was introduced in Revenge of the Fallen. Of course we know that's not exactly true from across the multiverse, but it's a fun myth :)

IDW - Primacy #3

Written by: Chris Metzen & Flint Dille
Art by: Livio Ramondelli
Letters by: Chris Mowry
Editor: John Barber
Plot
Metroplex and Trypticon fight it out in Iacon, with Trypticon having an easy lead in the battle, however Metroplex does eventually take the upper hand, and takes him off line, unfortunately Trypticon reveals he was just the distraction, as the Decepticon's stolen Quintesson shuttle skewers the Titan and topples him over.
The Decepticons send out the Junkions to fight the Autobots as the first wave, which with their numbers causes a lot of problems for them. Next, the Decepticons create a lake of acidic water using acid rain, and releases an army of Sharkticons to join thee fight. The other main Decepticons simply sit back, and let their new recruits take out the bulk of the Autobots for them, but also begin their preparations for dealing with "Target Alpha".

The Autobots begin to make some dents in the Decepticon's forces, and Grimlock personally fights with Blackwall, an old rival from the Gladiator Pits.
Nearby, Omega Supreme reveals to Optimus that he lied to him before, and that he was waiting for Nova to return to kill him for his actions, and the corrupted Prime lineage he started, but that he believes that Optimus is different, and that he trusts and respects him.
At that moment, the Decepticons start their attack on "Target Alpha", who is revealed to be Omega Supreme who is seemingly killed in a mass of explosions.

Once the Sentinel has fallen, Megatron begins to hear Pentius' voice in his head, and he reveals that he is inside of him, and that he plans to devour Cybertron through Megatron himself!

Notes
  • Metroplex is revealed to have been the one to seal away Trypticon originally
  • Considering their activity in the modern era, I'm sure no-one is really too worried about Omega Supreme and Metroplex surviving these events huh?
  • The Decepticons have recruited the Sharkticons to their ranks as well as the Junkions
  • Shockwave's reason for joining the Decepticons is implied to be "Fear" here. Whilst it is shown to have been for his own reasons of universal desruction during Dark Cybertron, but it's possible that this was his "given" excuse during the early years.
  • Blackwall and Grimlock are shown to have a long standing rivalry now. (I'm guessing Grimlock will kill him next issue since he's never seen in the modern era)
  • Omega Supreme's target name is "Target Alpha", most likely a reference to the "Alpha and Omega"
  • Pentius is revealed to be at least partially within Megatron, implying that Megatron did devour a part of his spark to sustain himself on Junkion as intended, as well as being placed within Trypticon.
  • It is confirmed here, as guessed before, that Omega is waiting for Nova, so he can kill him for his actions before he left Cybertron.

Plot
Transmutate and Rampage wake up to find Lord Imperious, of the Destructrons apologizing for how Medusa and Bruton treated them in their encounter, and are invited inside their base to refuel with Energon, where they learn that Imperious was the one who freed them from the prison ship by destroying it, and how he did so because he wanted them to join the Desructrons, as all of them are outcasts on their own worlds, like them.
Rampage considers joining them, but Transmutate says no, as they are not broken, and do not need to be treated this way, however Imperious refuses to let them leave, gets angry, and reveals his hidden multiple evil eyes and mouth, and uses his Delirious Fire power to attack them

Notes
  • The Animated article features images for Animated Erector previously only ever seen in the spoof article on him for the Hall of Fame (hopefully this means we'll see the other images before long)
  • The Destructrons are all identified officially here after their unnamed appearances last issue
  • It's revealed that the one who destroyed the prison ship earlier was Delirious himself.
  • The Destructrons are revealed to not be a specific race, but a collection of abused robotic life-forms from various worlds
  • What's the betting that in the next issue, either Rampage or Transmutate will destroy Delirious, and escape from the planet?
  • Delirious reveals that he planned to use the entire Prison ship as a new army source to invade Cybertron...wonder how the ship blew up them if that wasn't the purpose of the attack?

Top 10 Darkest Transformer Moments

Across the Transformers franchise there has been many great moments, but some are just so dark an twisted in their own ways that it brings a shiver down your spine just to consider them.

Therefore, in honour of Halloween, which is in a week, I decided to list out my top 10 darkest moments in Transformers history. Let me be clear on this though, there are MANY more moments I could have used, but I decided to make this list as condensed as possible, and tries to used what I feel are the darkest moments over all.

The Quintessons
The Quintessons, since their first introduction in the animated movie from 1986 have haunted our nightmares as fans, their idea of justice is very abstract, and take absolute pleasure in killing anyone who gets in their way through kangaroo courts and mock trials, always resulting in their victims being fed to the Sharkticons, so they are eaten alive by a pack of ravenous monsters. Their laughter is the thing of nightmares that will haunt you to your death bed...

Overlord's First Victim
In More Than Meets The Eye #15 Pipes is happily driving around in his adorable little blue truck mode, after finally getting over his aversion to transforming following the harrowing incident at the Delphi outpost, where he almost died just because he transformed. He has just passed on a message for Blaster to send back home to his good pal Hubcap, who he hasn't seen in a few months following his ship, the Lost Light's explosive exit from the planet a few monthss earlier, and is on his way to a movie-night with his best friends on the ship. Happy times :)
Then he accidentally runs into the newly escaped Decepticon Overlord, who immediately stomps on the poor little happy and hapless chap, leaving his to die, without a single word or witty comment as you would have expected.

Unicron's Army of Darkness
Unicron has been reborn in the corpse of Megatron and has made his way to Cybertron where he plans to finish off the newly revived Primus whilst he is still weak, to do this he needs an army, and he comes across a massive graveyard of the ancient Predacons who once walked the planet, so of course he uses his Dark Energon to revive the entire graveyard and creates his frightening and monstrous army, which after a while are defeated and disintegrated with Unicron's overall capture.

What you may not realize from this scene is that this with he destruction of the Predacon corpses from Unicron's tampering, he has also wiped out any real chance for Predaking to rebuild the Predacon species properly (as Shockwave would have most likely helped him clone more since the Decepticons are finished). Whilst Shockwave and Starscream have been collecting more fossils etc for some time, most likley they haven't found enough to truly rebuild the species (unless the Allspark itself births some more naturally)

Transmutate...
(Skip to 2:56 for the scene)
Transmutate has made friends with both Rampage and Silverbolt who feel a kinship towards her and her plight, despite her many defects and hideous appearance. Unfortunately her new friends are on opposing sides of the war, and of course engage in battle very quickly.
The problem with this is that Transmutate wants to end the fight, so she forces her way between the two combatants, and is killed for her troubles, causing a very emotional reaction from everyone involved, but is rarely ever mentioned again afterwards.

Ratchet's Fate
Ratchet is hiding out, as per Optimus Prime's orders, when he is ambushed by the human team Cemetary Wind, and the bounty hunter Lockdown, who very violently, and deliberately slaughter him, then remove his spark for Locdown's own uses.
Later on we find out that they have given his body to KSI, who have been told that he was an evil Decepticon who attacked Chicago, so they happily melt down his body, along with several other ambushed Autobots.
Not a good fate for an innocent medic, even if he never once saved a life through his career in the films or associated comics....

Rust in Peace, Ironhide
The Autobots have returned to the NEST HQ (Nest Egg) after fighting off some Decepticons to rescue Sentinel Prime, whom Sam has realized is a target for them. He is escorted back to base, where quickly reveals to his allies that he knows all about Megatron's plans, as he is in on them, and proceeds to turn on his bodyguard Ironhide, and kills him with his Cosmic Rust cannon, painfully murdering him, then turns his attention on the rest of the assembled forces, leading to a rampage through the base, that eventually leads to the invasion of Chicago.
Also of note, the twins Skids and Mudflap were meant to be killed in this scene too but were removed due to the controversy around them, it is sill in the novels and comics though :)

Wreckers Style
Autobots are normally thought to be the good guys in Transformers, but they do do amoral things some times. In this case, regardless of whether Megatron orchestrated the incident or not, the Wreckers were VERY willing to kill off the Predacon clones being grown in Shockwave's hidden lab, thus slaughtering a new generation of the previously extinct beasts. It's hardly a wonder why Predaking gets so pissed off with Magnus and Wheeljack here huh?

Mini-Con Mutilation
In the Armada comic series, Mini-Cons were depicted in a different way to their cartoon counteerparts, they were just a third race of Transformers who lived on Cybertron in peace, until the Decepticons one day decided to invade their villages, capture them all and perform painful experiments on them to convert them into living batteries for them to use to augment their own powers to conquer the planet.
Following this, both factions essentially saw the Mini-Cons as tools and things to covet rather than another race of their own species, and this struggle continued throughout the Armada comic (until the Worlds Collide storyline anyway)

Shockwave's True Colours
Shockwave has been hiding undercover amongst the Autobots as Longarm Prime for some time now, and has risen to the rank of Head of Intelligence. However by the start of Season Three his role is jeopardized by the Earth-based Autobots knowing his secret, and everyone knowing there is a traitor on Cybertron.
Upon this realization, Shockwave learns that Blurr is close to identifying him, and so he decides to take him out, however, knowing that Blurr is far too fast for him to catch, he instead decides to capture him....by crushing him between two closing walls, seemingly ending his life.
(There is some theories that he did survive, but let's face it, being turned into a cube and all hat trauma is going to have ruined the guy!)
End of an Era
Finally, here is one of the worst things that could happen...the Ultra Magnus of the Negative Polarity universe invades the Classics Universe (their direct opposite) and uses the Terminus Blade to try to destroy Earth! Of course the Autobots succeed in stopping him, or so they think...in fact is target wasn't Earth, it was the ENTIRE Classics Universe, which is very quickly destroyed, all save for Earth, that is left alone in the void that was once an entire universe. The planet is transported to the Shattered Glass universe soon afterwards, but the fact still remains. Everyone they ever knew, who was not on Earth (or a couple of ships that were trapped in a wormhole) were just annihilated.

Worst of all, Cliffjumper has been trapped in the SG universe for some time now, and has just gotten the ability to return home, only to discover that it was just destroyed entirely.

Ultra Magnus is still out there, and now the Transtechs, the self-appointed guardians of the Multiverse are working on resolving these problems...let's hope they can stop him before any more universes are blown up!

I hope you enjoyed this list, and let me know if you have any more opinions on my choices, or any others. Look out for my future blogs by following my page, or just bookmarking it, and have a happy Halloween...be careful of killer robots!

Lockdown approaches the command deck, when he is attacked by a scraplet, who multiplies and starts to kill the Cybertronian. Sojex, the escaped prisoner, who was revealed to be a plant by a crme group who were angry with Lockdown for getting their boss imprisoned, gloats over her killing Lockdown, when suddenly he appears in the room, revealing that the Lockdown she killed was a hologram, and that he destroyed the Scraplets with water.

A short battle ensues, but Lockdown manages to knock out Sojex, and locks her up again, taking her back to her crime group for them to punish her for failing to kill him.

A short while later, Lockdown receives a mysterious message from a group, offering him a bounty to claim on Earth....

Notes
  • This issue comes with either TF: Prime Ratchet or Starscream as the free PVC gift...just one left for the whole set!
  • This issue actually seems to fit with the plot of the actual movie rather than the mis-direction leaked information (such as Lockdown being the Decepticon leader etc)
  • Though I guess the last 3 issues would explain where Lockdown got the aerosol of water though...
  • The Steeljaw seen on Lockdown's ship is actually based on the design for the Steeljaw from DOTM, rather than AOE. This wouldn't be a problem, except the DOTM version was a pet to the Wreckers, rather than alien wolf minion here.
  • Lockdown's alternate mode here is possibly based on his Construct-Bots toy's.
  • The Scraplet's weakness here is the same as it was in Marvel.
  • The end of this comic leads directly to Lockdown's involvement in AOE's plot (therefore this could actually be set BEFORE the previous three comics) but would be set a short time before the events of the film, since he was helping Cemetary Wind kill the Autobots.

IDW - Transformers vs G.I. Joe #3

Title: Funeral for a Friend
Written by: Tom Scioli and John Barber
Art, Colours and Lettering by: Tom Scioli
Production by: Chris Mowry
Edits by: Carlos Guzman
Plot
The Joes have their prisoner Dr. Venom working on building the Joes some B.A.T.'s to fight Cobra with, whilst the rest of the troops are attending a funeral for Hawk, who has apparently died from gangrene (though not really,,, as everyone, including Venom knows it's a trap for Cobra).
During the "funeral" Cobra arrives and attacks the funeral, and within a few seconds Hawk appears from his coffin and joins the fight (.....yeah). During the battle Starscream and Shockwave emerge from the water to reveal that they somehow survived being hit by the Joe's death ray, and joined forces with Cobra.

Meanwhile on Cybertron, Perceptor and his team bring the captured Joes to see Grimlock, who decides to throw them to the Sharkticons. Arcee throws them some of their ammuniion to give them a fighting chance, and Jinx manages to kill the Sharkticons with bombs (without killing herself or the others in the process of course)

Back on Earth, the Decepticons tear into the ship and let Cobra troops in, they're looking for Soundwave and Venom, but cannot find the former, they manage to find Venom, and shoot his guards to not-death, and try to take him with them. However Venom turns sides officially and kills Buzzer with his own gun, staying the Joes.
Meanwhile, Duke infiltrates the retreating Cobras by wearing one of their uniforms and coming back to their back with them (great security guys!). When at the Cobra base he sees Snake-Eyes randomly there, and assumes he's jumped sides, and witnesses as Destro and some of his guards head through a portal...

Destro arrives on Cybertron through the protal, but all his human troops have died in the process, with him surviving due to him being a cyborg. Megatron is impressed by the human who has perfected "real life" (ie being a robot) and agrees to work with Cobra in exchange for help ridding Cybertron of the Creeper-Vines.

At the Joe's base in Iacon, the team are dissecting Wheeljack, despite his protests, but after he plays a message from the President Scarlett calls for the procedure to stop. Suddenly Brawn and the others turn up and start fighting the Joes, until both sides are knocked out (or hopefully killed) by their opposing weapons.

Back on Earth, Venom is given the mission to rebuild Soundwave as a Joe-controlled robot (sure...nothing can go wrong there right?)

Notes
  • UGH! More of this tripe!
  • The BAT's that Venom is working on, despite being made for the Joes clearly have Cobra insignias on their chests (with even space for a Decepticon insignia inside too)
  • So Hawk is dead? Who cares!
  • Oh wait he's alive actually....wow....
  • Shockwave and Starscream somehow survived the attack from the Colton Bolt...how did the Joes not notice that their bodies went missing?!
  • Metroplex is a giant slug it seems....(my guess is that he is a mobile city as the Decepticons run the whole planet, but from the art it looks like a weird large slug...
  • Despite most of the other Autobots looking like they are based on their toys, Grimlock seems to have a random robot mode design.
  • One of the Sharkticons has a Decepticcon logo on his fin, whilst this was true for the toy line, there's no need for it here.
  • How did the humans survive the explosions that killed the Sharkticons exactly?
  • Dial-Tone, Shipwreck and his birdie all get badly shot up here by Cobra...yet they all seem fine by the end of the scene....wonder if Buzzer will turn up after surviving his head exploding too?
  • So Snake-Eyes has randomly joined Cobra? Despite their former leader being the reason his face is destroyed, him attacking their new allies and there being no evidence of this before this issue...right....
  • Why is Darkwing randomly hanging out with the high ranking Decepticons?
  • The Joes are literally tearing Wheeljack apart to see how he works, despite him screaming and pleading for help....THESE ARE THE HEROES?!?!
  • Also, Flagg has a battle suit made out of Bumblebee's corpse....remember that Megatron also has his head around his neck...any similarities here guys?
  • I so hope that that explosion caused by the Energon Bomb and Green Arrow (helpfully named on panel as there's no way we could tell what they were supposed to be otherwise) killed all the characters assembled...
  • Wow the scale and perspective in this thing is messed up!

Transformers Kreon Top 10

As promised, here is my Kreon figure Top 10 (from my collection anyway, there are many more I still need to get). I've loved Kreons for a long time now, and honestly I think they're one of the strongest lines that Hasbro have brought out in a while. I will be only discussing the Transformers Kreon figures here, as I have very few non-robot guys right now.
Sunstorm
First up is Sunstorm! Odd choice right? Well my main reason for including him here somewhere is because this was the figure that made me like the line. TECHNICALLY he was my second figure, as I had already gotten the Mirage building set (it was cheap) and wasn't impressed, so I ignored the figure, but when I got this guy (he came free with an issue of the UK's Titan Transformers comic) I fell in love, dug out my Mirage set, and started splashing out on more figures...LIFE RUINED!!
Landshark
Next up is some proof on how ruined my life is now, a part of the expensive Botcon set from this year's convention (I got mine at Auto Assembly). I like this figure because he is likely the only version of Landshark that I could, or would even try to afford and own. The design is lovely, and I am sure his alternate mode is great (I tried Transforming the Botcon 2014 set, but without instructions it is impossible!)
Gigatron
Gigatron, or as most people know him, Overlord is on my list for a lot of the same reasons as Landshark was. He's a figure that normally I would never be able to reasonably afford (plus this one looks ten times better than his full sized Botcon toy too...).
Also, who doesn't love Overlord? Just a pity he didn't come with a small brick to go on the bottom of his foot to represent Pipes or something!
Guzzle
Guzzle is here because he shoes just how important the comics are. Before he appeared in Last Stand of the Wreckers, Guzzle was just another random character who got very little love, how he is so popular that Hasbro have made a couple of toys of him in recent years, including this very nice one here.
Strika
Strika, from the 2013 Botcon set is here because a) I lover her design and play features (her visor etc) and b) if you fiddle around with her just a bit, she can actually transform into an armoured truck of sorts, which none of the rest of her set can even come close to!
"Sideswipe"
Here is Sideswipe from the Age of Extinction toy line. Right? Well that's what the box and instructions say! Actually this toy is based off of Leadfoot from the Dark of the Moon toy line (this was most glaringly obvious when you remember that Sideswipe from the movies was silver....)
The best thing about this figure, is that since Leadfoot was never properly released in the UK, due to the line ending, we never got a proper Leadfoot toy, unless we imported from Japan (which I do plan to do one day)....of course now I need a Roadbuster and Topspin Kreon too....crap!
"Nightbeat"
You all knew I was going to put my favourite character on this list somewhere right? Seriously, I would buy a pregnancy test kit is it had Nightbeat's face on it (for whatever reason). But there's something a bit off about him though right? This is clearly based on Punch, not Nightbeat. Most likely he was originally meant to be a Punch/Counterpunch toy, but they couldn't figure out the Counterpunch half, and just renamed him.
I still like him though, despite all the lies!
Vehicons
Vehicons have become somewhat of a staple in the Transformers mythos over the past few years, and as such we've had a fair few released for the Kreo lines, from the Blind Pack version who turns into a car, and the 3 Pack who came with Cliffjumper that are based on the guys from Prime, to the mass produced AOE versions with their magnetic backpacks and helmets for Dinobots to chomp on.
These guys are so great for crowd-filling, and I wouldn't be surprised if most collectors just had a load of these on their displays, to show massive bloody battle scenes!
Autobot Troopers
The Autobot Troopers, also known as Autotroopers, also known as Autroopers are a small group oof Autobots who tend to act like the Vehicons for the Decepticons, and as such are great.
What is not great is that most Autobot Troopers are either expensive (like the TFA Botcon sets) or come with creepy half-naked girl models (Kiss Players T.T). And even this set wasn't exactly cheap as I had to get him through a specialist toy dealer online due to poor distribution in the UK (made even more horrible since I needed this set for the Quest Blaster too!
Optimuseses
Finally, despite my many complaints about CERTAIN characters getting way too many toys released (Optimus and Bumblebee for instance) there's still no way to get around how cool Optimus looks in this series. Basically all of them (bar Orion Pax) share all the same parts, possibly with a different weapon, and are just painted slightly differently each time, yet they always look wonderful!
The AOE versions in particular show off how effective these sculpts are by using vastly different paint jobs of each of his main releases (shown above, in the back). And of course the lovely Orion Pax was an exclusive with the Character Encyclopaedia, which is fitting due to his archivist role.

Well there's my countdown! I hope you enjoyed, and let me know if you have any other figures that you enjoyed more than my selection, or if you have any more topics you would like me to cover in the future.

Thanks for reading!

Lego Minifigure Top 10

Those of you who know me, know I love Minifigures, whether they are Lego or Kreo, so I've decided to put together two blogs featuring my favourites in my collection from those two sets. Let me know if there's any figures you think I would like in the future!

"Kebob" Bob
The first on my list is Bob, he is literally a greasy and dirty Kebab stall owner, he is gross, and not at all like most other pristine looking Lego figures. I also figured I would include this figure here today because of a mistake I keep seeing everywhere with his name. His name includes his company's name "Kebob" he is not a "Kebab"...it irritates me when people get that wrong....

Good Cop/Bad Cop
Good Cop/Bad Cop is a figure (well several figures) that feature an alternate head as a design feature, even in the Movie. The reason I like this set of figures so much is because they show off the now long-running feature of having alternate heads on their Minifigures, to a humorous level.

Executive Ellen
I've liked Ellen since I go her (despite the heavy dust on her figure) because I love the idea that she was just on the way to work, when Lord Business attacks Brickburg and she gets involved in the whole mess.

Barrista Larry
Larry was the first Minifigure I got from a blind pack, or at all in fact, so he's someone I have a bit of a connection with now. I also quite like how he's just one of the every day guys, who we see the work life of in his figure. Plus he comes with a little coffee cup thingie, which is always fun.
He was originally going to have a major role in my Kreo/Lego comic series, but I just couldn't get around his plot line properly, so I gave up on him.

Sexual Harras- Um...Panda Suit Guy
I like the Lego figures that are just people in animal suits, as they are either entertainers or just Furries, which is just great to have appear in a kid's toy line. I like this one in particular because he reminds me of Sexual Harassment Panda from South Park, and he even comes with an adorable miniature version of himself (which could creepily be an abducted child thinking of it....MOVING ON!)

Robot Radio DJ
I'm including the Radio DJ here because, as shown in the movie he is the one who keeps playing "Everything Is Awesome" on the radio...this is the face of evil....JUDGE HIM!

Exclusive Emmets
I love the exclusive Emmet figures, they're fun to look at, and are nicely evocative of certain scenes from the Lego Movie. The main reason I like them is because they look so cheap. The PJ version is just a reuse of the Sleepyhead figure from a few waves earlier, and the Western version has a random hat and poncho attached...they didn't even change the Construction Worker uniform underneath! (It's even funnier when you see Wyldstyle's outfit, which is a perfect Western outfit)

Sad Clown
Look at this guy...he makes me depressed just looking at him! What isn't there to love about that. I wonder if he's missing his black and white cat or something? Maybe I should give him the Panda's stolen child?

Gamer Nerd
This guy just made me laugh when I saw him, he's basically the perfect figure for any nerd (gamer or not) to have on their desk. He even comes with a nice little control pad too! (If you get 2 of him you could easily make a gaming party scene!)

Goth Girl
My last entrant here is my newest figure, and the one I most wanted from the recent Lego Wave 12. I don't know why, but I love her so much! Maybe it's the monochrome (I have noticed most of my favourites are in black and white) or maybe it's the adorable sad looking teddy. I dunno, she's just wonderful!

So that's my lot, I'll have the Kreo list up at the weekend most likely, until then let me know what you think of this list, if there's anyone you would have added yourselves, or even any other comments you have!
