Plot
Windblade and Chromia are running away from the "Badgeless", heading back to Metroplex to figure out what is happening. The rest of their allies try to distract Starscream, but he quickly overpowers them, and goes after the female Autobots himself as well.
Near Metroplex's brain, Chromia attacks and seemingly kills the two "Badgeless" chasing them, in her roole as bodyguard to Windblade. When they arrive though, they feel the ground shaking, and Chromia dismisses it as a quake, and the duo barricade themselves in the brain chamber, where Windblade prepares to perform a dangerous link up to Metroplex to try and resolves the problems manually.

Starscream quickly breaks through the barricade and fights with Chromia, during the fight, Starscream's sword manages to hit Windblade, just before she's able to make the link up, and he stabs Chromia too, wounding her.
Starscream prepares to kill Windblade, still believing her to be the saboteur, but she makes the link up, and takes control of Metroplex's defenses and attacks and trapps him in some panels.

Windblade, now merged with Metroplex soon learns about the Spacebridge being open, and sees several unknown colony worlds, but cannot seem to find Caminus himself, and then learns through Metroplex's memories that Chromia was the one who had power diverted to the Spacebridge so they could take the Titan back to Caminus. Chromia admits it, and Starscream screams that if she does that, then anyone not fully inside the Titan will be kills in the transit..

Windblade starts to have a conflict of beliefs about what to do, but is brught to her senses by Metroplex himself, and they disable the Spacebridge for now. Windblade then frees Starscream on the condition that he and they kkeep alll that happened that night a secret, in exchange for Starscream being able to use the Spacebridge when Metroplex is repaired to reunite the colony worlds to Cybertron, and truly be the "Chosen One" of legend.

Starscream agrees, and leaves the two Autobots alone. Windblade tells Chromia that she can leave Cybertron if she wants to, but until she can leave, she has to be reliable, and not kill anyone else. Windblade then flies off alone, feeling at one with both Caminus and Cybertron.

Notes
  • The ornament on the left side of Windblade's head dressing is revealed to be a cover for an interface port to connect to a Titan
  • Starscream appears to have become VERY adept at using his swords after just learning he had them a couple of months earlier
  • Knock Out's appearance amongst the other Colony world denizens is clearly a reference to Transformers Prime, which Mairghread worked on.
  • Caminus' face is shown for the first time here, and it is indeed with similar facial markings to Windblade's, as speculated earlier.
