Plot
Oz, and the Biotron unit he is in collapse from the stab wound, one of the other MOD Acroyears objects to the change in their mission, as Oz was supposed to be captured alive, but Raith kills the Acroyear, and engages in battle with the Micronaut Acroyear, and claims that if Oz wants to stay alive, he has to do so by himself.
Oz is dying when suddenly he finds himself inside the Entropy Cloud, facing a Time Traveler, who speaks in riddles, but alludes to Oz needing to enter the Entropy Cloud physically to save the universe, much to Oz's irritation.

Oz wakes up, fully healed much to everyone's shock, allowing Acroyear to knockout Raith. The Biotron unit begins to go on a rampage, and begins acting and speaking on his own, again to everyone's surprise. Biotron leads the crew to the Heliopolis, and they launch it out of the outpost to find themselves in the midst of a full on battle between the two Ministries.

Inside the outpost, the two Barons fight it out, but Karza manages to defeat (and maybe kill) Daigon. Karza is soon informed that Raith went against orders and tried to kill Oz, which led to him escaping, much to Karza's anger.
Oz explains what happened when he was "dead" and tells the other Micronauts that he has to enter the Entropy Cloud to save the universe, which the others agree to join him on, as they enter the cloud, unsure what will happen...
Karza, unwilling to allow Oz to escape before he can use his powers for his own use, he jumps through the window of the outpost and follows them in centaur mode into the cloud....

Notes
  • The Time Traveler seen in this issue looks different to the one who appears in the Revolution tie-ins. It could be a different one, but why?
  • It's implied that Oz healed his own stab wound, as that was Shazraella's plan from the dialogue from Raith.
  • As well as healing his death-wound, he also seeped his own sentience into the Biotron unit, giving him a personality similar to his own, and can act on his own accord without orders or a pilot now.
  • So...I guess the Ministry of Science fixed the Heliopolis whilst they had it in storage then?
  • Like with Karza's centaur mode last issue, Daigon has his own version, which is based on the "Force Commander" toy that can combine with his own horsie named Oberon.
  • I don't know if Karza killed Daigon in this issue, but if he did, then he LITERALLY face-palmed him to death....I kinda hope he did now....
  • This issue leads directly into Revolution: Micronauts

Plot
Baron Karza is looking into the Entropy Cloud, thinking about the past, when he is joined by Shazraella, and the two begin to reminisce about their shared past...

In the past, Baron Karza and Baron Daigon aid the Emperor in controlling the Council of Worlds in Microspace, and are joined by the Emperor's son, Red Falcon.
The Pharoids are complaining because their temples are being attacked across Microspace, and their people are being slaughtered. Red Falcon is concerned due to the Pharoids being unpopular with the rest of Microspace, but volunteers to save them himself.
Afterwards, Karza is wandering the halls when he sees his future wife, Shazraella, with Red Falcon, much to his displeasure.

Before long, the Ministry of Defense, with Red Falcon leading them, attack the Pharoid's enemies and manage to liberate the temple. The attackers are killed by the Ministry, but one of them warns Karza that the Pharoids have done something that will wind up destroying everything. Karza isn't interested however, and kills him.
Afterwards, Karza makes his way inside the temple, where he finds Red Falcon amongst the Time Travelers in their caskets, and he claims to be able to see his great future.

Later, they return to the Emperor, where Red Falcon convinces his father to allow him to be the messenger for the Time Travelers, as they can help their people grow further. Both Daigon and Karza become concerned with Red Falcon's new attitude and covetous nature.
After the meeting, Karza and Daigon are talking, and Karza decides that for the greater good, they may need to kill Red Falcon, Daigon disagrees and considers it treason, but doesn't report it.
Karza watches the city for some time to consider his options, when Shazraella appears and they start an affair. Shazraella claims that she is worried about Red Falcon, as he has become obsessed with the Time Travelers and their prophecies to him, so Shazraella agrees to help Karza to stop him.

Shazraella takes Karza to a secret lab, where she gives him some poison to give to Red Falcon. Karza soon meets with Red Falcon, and poisons him, stopping him from fulfilling his new destiny.
Karza remembers further that the Time Travelers never appeared before them again, and wonders if they even appeared before Falcon himself.

In the present, Shazraella claims that the Emperor would have understood why Karza killed his son, had he not been in cryo-hiberation, then leaves him to watch the cloud some more.
Following this meeting, a Devil Head Microtron enters the room and presents Baron Karza with another copy of his helmet, stating that it was found in the debris from around the Entropy Cloud, and proceeds to send himself to a smelting chamber, leaving Karza to ponder the meaning of his own helmet being found exiting the cloud....

Notes
  • Despite this being issue 4 of the series, this entire issue, including the framing device seems to be set before the actual start of the series, this is proven when next issue has Karza and Shazraella continuing their conversation from issue 3.
  • The "Council of Worlds" shown in the past here in Microspace shares a name with the new Cybertronian alliance with their Colony worlds. Whilst this is a fairly common seeming title due to their shared roles, a later revelation will show us that this universe was created by Micronus Prime, a Cybertronian...could they have taken the name through that in some way?
  • True to continuity, we see the Ministry of Defense army filled with Acroyear I units in the past.
  • One of the Pharoid's enemies seems to allude to the Pharoids and Time Travelers being the same beings and are dangerous. This is a plot that will continue on in the series
  • It's revealed that the two Ministries were created to assist the Emperor in running the Microspace, when the Emperor entered cryo-hibernation, their rift happened, and they went to war.
  • Baron Karza is revealed to have been having a secret relationship with Shazraella, even when she was in a relationship with the Red Falcon, aka the son of the Emperor.
  • Shazraella claims that Falcon had a vision of himself as emperor, her as empress and with the Time Travelers as his advisors. Knowing Shazraella's duplicity, she may have made up all of this just to convince Karza to kill him. Karza even wonders if he ever met with the Time Travelers in the first place.
  • Baron Daigon is named "Daegon" in this issue. This also happens next issue...it is confusing...

Plot
The Micronauts are taken into custody by the Ministry of Science, with the Heliopolis and Biotron being placed into storage along with their specialist equipment. Baron Daigon explains that he wants Oz to help him to save the universe, and takes them towards the Entropy Cloud...

Meanwhile, on the perimeter of the cloud, Baron Karza is discussing with his wife Shazraella about the destruction of the research facility, and finds it strange how Daigon himself went to the site as well. Whilst they talk though, an assassin appears and attacks Karza, who easily kills his would-be killer, and Shazraella reveals that Daigon has found a Pharoid, and taken him into custody..

The Micronauts are in a holding cell, where Oz explains that he worked with Daigon along with several other Pharoids when the Entropy Storm first appeared to try and contact their close relatives, the Time Travelers, who vanished just as the cloud formed, but he claims to have found nothing when they communed with them..
Oz is taken to meet with Daigon in his office, where Oz calls Daigon a warlord due to his actions with the war, and using the current apocalypse scenario to gain power. Daigon explains that he knows that Oz has his people's powers, despite his claims to the contrary, and wants to know what he saw in the Entropy Cloud, and also wants to know what happened to the other Pharoids, who were found with the brains gouged out as they communed with the cloud, and Oz vanished.

Notes
  • Despite his sentience, Microtron is seen by the Ministry of Science as just machinery
  • So the Acroyear II units are easily killed by the Assassin in this issue...are we sure the older models were retired for being weaker and not just for cost effectiveness?
  • Shazraella is revealed to have been the "Mistress of Spies" and despite being retired, still has contacts everywhere.
  • The Assassin's comments about Karza being a murderous traitor will be explain in the next issue.
  • Oz explains that his species once had psychic powers and have a connection to a mysterious species known as the Time Travelers, who went missing when the Entropy Cloud appeared.

Plot
The research station blows up, but Oz and his crew manage to escape just in time, with Oz still using the Biotron unit, the Biotron unit explains that the Phobos units were rigged to attack when an unauthorized person interacted with Biotron, which Oz did. The Heliopolis is damaged in the explosion, so it and the crew plummet towards a nearby planet.

The crew manage to survive due to their equipment protecting them, but they need repairs. Phen stays with the damaged ship since her space glider suit needs repairs before she can use it, so the rest of the crew head towards a nearby town to get replacement parts for the ship.
Along the way to the town, Larissa explains that she was lied to by Hezlee just like them, so she is offered to stay with them for now.
In town, the crew start looking for their needed parts when a part of the research station lands in the town and starts to emit a gas. Biotron informs them that this is a warhead releasing the bio-weapon, as part of the ship's protocols. The crew manage to get the warhead into Biotron, where it emits it's gas into his air-tight canopy, but leaves him unable to hold Oz until the filters get rid of the vapours.

The townsfolk celebrate and allow them to take the parts they need, but are interrupted when Phen arrives, followed by a swarm of Acroyear units from the Ministry of Defense, who they assume to be after the bio-weapon. The crew fight them off and defend the townsfolk until they themselves are saved when the Ministry of Science arrive and take down the MOD Acroyears with ease. Oz and the others surrender when Baron Daigon, the head of the Ministry of Science, arrives, and greats Oz by name, clearly knowing him.

Notes
  • Luckily Larissa and Phen have retractable oxygen masks to help them live in space just after the space station explodes...sometimes...other times they can just breath in space...
  • So....Biotron can transform in a treaded vehicle.....can I just class this as a Transformers series now?!
  • Larissa had no idea about the bio-weapons on the station, meaning she was being sent there by Hezlee for ulterior motives
  • It's shown here that Space Gliders are used by the Ministry of Science whilst the Ministry of Defense use Acroyears for soldiers
  • Despite needing a biological "battery" to power them, Biotrons are shown to be able to operate for a while unpiloted, so long as they are given orders.
