Title: Rubicon

Plot
Metroplex, still with his brain disconnected from his own body detects that Windblade has made contact with Vigilem, and laments how he shouldn't have lied to her about the true identity of "Carcer" and wonders if he should have had him killed in the past, rather than just self-imprisoned for his war crimes.
Windblade is struggling with Vigilem's mind, but she does manage to transform the Titan into robot mode, and sends herself into battle against the Titan Swarm, taking full control of Vigilem's body, much to everyone's glee. Soon though, Vigilem manages to fight back, and starts taking control of his own body again, agreeing to take down the zombie Titans, but just so he can destroy the planet himself later, for revenge.
Metroplex, aware what Windblade is doing, manages to get in contact with Chromia, who is now in prison, and frees her from her captivity so she can rescue Windblade herself.

Vigilem manages to destroy the Swarm, but then starts to head towards Metroplex, intent on killing him too, but Windblade stops him. Unfortunately though, Vigilem starts to open a hidden chamber in his body, a chamber that is being aimed at by Strika's attack force, ready to destroy whatever is coming out of it.
Elita makes her way to the brain chamber, intent on destroying Vigilem's brain, to prevent his master from returning, but the other council members plead with her to wait until Windblade is disconnected, however when she sees that Vigilem is now in control of Windblade's body too, she opens fire on the brain of her Titan, utterly destroying it and knocking out Windblade, who was still connected to it, just as Chromia rushes into the room.

Unfortunately, Elita was too late, and the chamber finishes opening up, and Strika's team is immediately knocked down in the presence of Liege Maximo himself! The Liege thanks his now dead Titan, and promises to avenge both of them, as he teleports away.

Starscream and the other Cybertronians cheer over the defeat of Vigilem and the Titan Swarm, unaware that Windblade has been badly injured, and Chromia is left cradling her seemingly lifeless body....

Notes
  • Vigilem's master being Liege Maximo was previously revealed in Till All Are One: Revolution, here we see that he was turned into a "prison" for his master too.
  • Also, this issue confirms why the Carcerians have been so guarded about their ship, they were afraid that people would discover Liege Maximo inside the ship.
  • Despite the ship Carcer clearly having some sort of artificial gravity on it (people weren't just floating around on the ship) Vigilem does not have artificial gravity whilst in robot mode, at least not in the non-brain module chamber parts of his body any way, or at least not intuitive gravity, since Elita and her troops are sent off the flooring in the corridor, with the latter being sent flying off.
  • Vigilem is shown to have a battle mask that he deploys in battle...this is probably the largest battle mask ever seen...
  • Liege Maximo's design is based on his Aligned continuity design, which further makes t seem likely that the IDW version of the Thirteen are going to all be the same as their Aligned counterparts.
  • Windblade being injured during the battle was spoiled for us early on in the new Optimus Prime series, and we now that the Mistress of Flame is due to take her place on the Council for a period of time.
  • The Carcerian pride in honesty is revealed somewhat to be due to their "founder" being known as a manipulator and a liar.

Plot
Ironhide's troops are fighting the Titans on Cybertron's surface, as Windblade's team attacks Carcer, planning to try and convince him to help in the battle against the others. Starscream and the remaining council members are watching the action unfold from the Spire, and Starscream admits that he really does hope that Windblade succeeds, but feels like she wont, since heroes tend to die...

Devastator is tearing into Carcer's hull, but is soon confronted by an attack force led by Strika, who seems to be matched up to him in terms of strength.
Obsidian notes how the shuttles seem to be acting strange in the area, and orders for the nearby ones to be struck, in case of any infiltrators. The shuttle carrying Windblade's team is hit, and detonates, but Fireshot is able to get them out safely by having everyone hide within rubble, and crash onto the hull, leading to them making it into an airlock.

Inside the Titan, the team splits into two groups, one to reach the armoury, the other to the brain chamber. Obsidian soon detects the team heading to the armoury, and reports this to Elita, also reporting that Windblade is with them. Elita, assuming that this is Starscream's doing, leads a team to intercept them herself.
She attacks the team, and manages to clip Windblade's wing, and swatting the others away at the same time, she goes to finish off Windblade personally, but "Windblade" is revealed to just be Lightbright having used a holo-projector to disguise herself as her, much to Elita's distaste.

Windblade's real team arrives at the brain chamber, having avoided detection by going through the vents. Windblade prepares to interface with Carcer's brain, but is interrupted by Obsidian, who figured that something was going on, and reasoned that the brain was the better tactical decision for Windblade to go for, rather than the armoury.
Obsidian tries to convince Windblade that reactivating Carcer is a mistake, but she insists that he is needed for the battle. Obsidian unleashes his weapons, and opens fire on the team, who work together to disable the Carcerian delegate, allowing Windblade to link up to Carcer's brain, even as Obsidian continues to call for her to stop.

Windblade taps into the mind of Carcer, and manages to reactivate him, realizing too late why the Carcer crew refused to allow him to fight...he isn't really Carcer...he is the evil Titan Vigilem, who was loyal only to Liege Maximo....

Notes
  • Despite being on the roll call page, and being mentioned as fighting the Titans, Ironhide doesn't actually appear in this issue
  • Also, despite all appearances, Windblade doesn't actually appear on the issue cover. That's Lightbright in disguise.
  • Starscream's getting a bit sloppy in his chats with Bumblebee's ghost. He does so in front of Airazor and Knock Out in this issue, with the former even commenting on it.
  • Strika is strong enough to fight off Devastator....yikes!
  • With the revelation that Carcer is actually Vigilem, the Titan mentioned to be loyal to Liege Maximo in the Revolution tie-in issue, it's quite likely that the former captain, who currently acts as Elita One's throne is ACTUALLY Liege Maximo's body!
  • It is assumed that the secret device Sparkstalker gave Windblade was he holo-projector that Lightbright used this issue.
  • All members of the Council of Worlds appear in this issue, except for Vanquish.

Plot
Metroplex is being overrun by the Titan Swarm, despite the united Cybertronian army fighting them off as well, he is taking too much damage. Windblade realizes that the Titans are fighting anything that moves, so she severs Metroplex's brain module, connecting it to an Energon stint, and causes him to effectively die, stopping the Titans from further attacking him.
Starscream sees this from his tower, and starts panicking further. He gets Elita One on the communicator again, but she still refuses to allow Carcer to transform and join the battle on the ground.

Following the bad exchange with Elita, Starscream calls the other Council members and allies to have them return to the Spire for an emergency meeting.
Once all gathered, Starscream explains that Elita is refusing Carcer to join the battle, and suggests that they evacuate the planet and escape from the Titans that way. No one is happy with this, but they understand what has to be done...
Ironhide starts filing civilians into the shuttles, but there's too many people trying to escape the planet. The prisoners are escorted to the shuttles, and Chromia sees Ironhide, warning him to get to Windblade, since she knows she'll do something stupid without someone to balance out her ideals.

Much to her prediction, Windblade speaks up, and suggests a mission for a team to head to Carcer, and take control of it to allow him to join the battle, despite Elita's arguments.
Windblade quickly assembles her team, which includes herself, Blurr, Tigatron, Airazor, Moonracer, Lightbright, Sparkstalker, Breakdown (the Veloctironian one) and Fireshot, who will take a ship, and hide amongst the others sent to attack Carcer from the outside. Sparkstalker gives Windblade a strange device that she asked him for, and they leave.

Elita contacts Starscream to ask him why he's sent shuttles to attack her, and he just says that she brought this on herself. Starscream has the Constructicons deployed, and combine them into Devastator to assault the hull of the Titan directly.
Obsidian tries to reason with Elita, pointing out that they are still their allies, and they should just explain the situation to them, but she ignores him, and orders her troops to open fire on the other Cybertronians.....

Notes
  • Lightbright being a Cityspeaker was shown at the start of Combiner Wars, when we were introduced to Caminus itself. It just hasn't appeared too much since then...
  • It's explained here that Caminus' brain was removed so that his body could be used throughout the planet
  • Despite appearances, the Carcer crew appear to WANT to help Cybertron by Transforming their Titan, but Elita is just being stubborn due to the currently unknown secret of the Titan.
  • The prison warden here looks a lot like Armorhide from the Live Action Movie toyline. A similar looking robot appeared in several flashbacks as the manager of the race track.
  • Devastator is shown with a Decepticon insignia again now, this is most likely a mistake though, since Scoop is forming the centre of his consciousness now, and he is a Neutral/former Autobot.

Plot
Out in space, the Titan Ship Carcer picks up a disturbing signal on it's sensors, Greenlight and Lancer inform Elita of this troubling news.
Windblade returns to Cybertron, following her involvement in the Revolution on Earth, and she is fed up, she doesn't appreciate how Optimus doesn't listen to her any more, and feels tired of all the problems she's had lately with Chromia, Bruticus and every thing on Earth. Obsidian consoles her, and tries to convince her to stay on Cybertron as she's needed there, just as he received a message on his communicator...
Elsewhere, Starscream has been called to see Ironhide in his office, and he demands that the Enigma of Combination be given to him for safe-keeping following the various thefts lately, but he ends up arguing with him about it, culminating in Ironhide pointing out how Starscream hasn't done anything to earn the respect of the Cybertronians yet, so he isn't trusted with something as powerful as the Enigma, just as they all receive a message too.

A little while later, the Council of Worlds are convened at the Spire, where Obsidian and Windblade request for a declaration of war to be made, and explains that an army of undead Titans have been detected approaching Cybertron (heading from Luna-1). The council start to panic, but Starscream finally takes charge, and gives everyone their orders to prepare the planet for battle.
The injured are all sent to Caminus, and the Spacebridge is deactivated for safety, the healthy are armed and prepared for battle, all shuttles around Cybertron are conscripted for the battle, and Carcer is brought into orbit, whilst Metroplex is ordered to transform and prepare for battle too.

Soon, the Titan Swarm arrives, and is immediately attacked by the united Cybertron, with the skies being defended by the Titan Ship Carcer and the other shuttles.
Everyone works together to take down the Titans, but there are just too many to handle. Starscream contacts Elita on Carcer and asks her to transform the ship to robot mode, so he can help in the battle, but she simply refuses and hangs up on him, just to Starscream's shock and horror...

Notes
  • This story acts as the TAAO part of the Titans Return event which MTMTE and Ongoing ended a couple months ago. This story occurs after Revolution's conclusion, but also follows on from the cliff-hanger at the end of MTMTE's part of the event.
  • It's revealed that the Combaticons are brain damaged following their forced de-combination from Bruticus in the last issue
  • Why are all of the injured being sent to Caminus? Isn't that the colony with the energy crisis? Why not send them to Eukaris, Divisiun, Velocitron or even Luna-1? I could understand them not going to Earth due to the delicate situation there, but wouldn't anywhere else be better?!
  • I'm going to assume that Razorbeast is from Eukaris, since he has a beast mode and didn't know Fizzle during the war.
  • So after all this time of building a city around Metroplex for people to live in, they have him transform and basically destroy it...PROGRESS!!
  • Carcer has been moved into orbit around Cybertron...did he get spacebridged there? Was he just nearby? I'm genuinely curious here!
  • Strika's statement that the Titans cannot take the ship, and Elita's refusal to allow Carcer to transform for the battle adds to the mystery of who Carcer really is, and what Elita's true motives are.

Plot
An injured Decepticon stumbles around in the wilderness outside Iacon, and dies from his injuries, whilst Obsidian observes this from above.
In the city, the integrated populations of Cybertron and the colonies are going about their everyday routines, when Ironhide is summoned to a meeting of the Justice Committee. There, he is introduced to the arranged Council of Worlds members as a private security officer. Obsidian reveals that he wants Ironhide to investigate the mysterious death of the Decepticon, who was a supplier for Carcer, and was just the most recent, and most fatale victim of a string of attacks on Decepticons lately via Mnemosurgery.
Obsidian believes that the Mnemosurgery attacks are being caused by Starscream and his police force, because of recent rumours of Swindle still being alive, despite being a casualty of the Combiner Wars (at Starscream's own hands too). Starscream is annoyed, but agrees to consider allowing Ironhide to investigate the situation.

A little further away, the surviving Combaticons are hanging out in their apartment, discussing some work they've been offered, but Onslaught is tired from hunting for Swindle, but with no luck, he's been receiving messages from an unidentified person, who's told him that Swindle is still alive, despite all appearances. Onslaught leaves to search the sewers again, and Blast Off finds another message from the informant. The message leads him to a set of Badgeless armour, which he puts on to do his own investigations.
Ironhide leaves the meeting to head to Maccadam's where a drunk Decepticons is causing some problems for the colonist patrons, whom he escorts away, meanwhile Blast Off replaces one of the Badgeless officers with himself to infiltrate their ranks.

Ironhide and the Decepticon leave the bar, but the Decepticon is being loud and annoys the nearby Badgeless, and makes the mistake of claiming "Swindle Lives". The Badgeless attack him and threaten to take his memories away, which Ironhide overhears. The Decepticon panics and runs away down an alleyway. The Badgeless appear to shoot the Decepticon, and he is soon found dead by Ironhide, with the Badgeless standing over him with smoking guns nearby.
A riot starts to brew when some of the crowd begin to swarm the Badgeless, and one of the Badgeless (likely Blast Off) sneaks away. The crowd gets scared off when the Badgeless start shooting into the air. Windblade, Obsidian and Starscream arrive, and Ironhide directly confronts Starscream about his troops actually being responsible for the attacks.
Obsidian condemns Starscream and says he'll inform the council and Elita One of this revelation, before flying away. Starscream admits to Windblade what he's authorized to be done, but threatens her with making the incident with Chromia (from Windblade Volume 1) public, and making it seem like an attempted insurrection from Caminus to destroy Cybertron.

Circuit and Longtooth appear through the crowd to get a quote from Starscream about the Badgeless attack, Starscream tries to deny that the Badgeless attacked the Decepticon, but Circuit reveals that footage of the attack has been spreading across the city already....

Notes
  • This series continues from where Windblade Volume two ended. It was originally meant to be released earlier in the year, but was pushed back (likely due to Sins of the Wreckers being delayed too)
  • Chromia has a couple of names carved into her scalp, as seen when she briefly has her helmet off...I wonder if that will have a role later in the series?
  • Fat Tankor is shown in vehicle mode, but without a tank turret, possibly meaning that weaponized vehicle modes on peace-time Cybertron are prohibited in some manner.
  • Following the rise of the Badgeless on Cybertron, as shown in the previous two Windblade series' Ironhide has set up his own security firm, since no-one trusts them, or Starscream.
  • The Combaticons didn't like Swindle, but they want to find him because they believe he's the "key" to some big secret and the process of combination. Swindle was only ever shown as part of their team during Primacy.
  • Considering how he was the one to spirit Prowl away following the Combiner Wars, it is POSSIBLE that Rattrap somehow managed to fake Swindle's death. It's also very likely that he is DC-357 if this is the case, since it would be easy for him to get a Badgeless suit as well.
  • It's revealed here that the Badgeless all look and sound the same because they use holographic armour and voice synthesizers
  • Chromia and Strika have apparently made "friends" and now act as sparring partners for each other.
  • "Drunkatron" confusing Greenlight and Lancer for Camiens is probably due to the initial belief of fans that all denizens of Caminus were female (which was later proven false during Combiner Wars of course)
  • Whilst not confirmed yet, it's likely that Blast Off was the one who attacked "Drunkatron", just to work up the crowd more.
  • This issue appears to take place during the early parts of "All Hail Optimus" as Circuit is still on Cybertron here. It's likely that Starscream sent Circuit to Earth, in the middle of a hostile encounter, as some sort of revenge for Circuit airing the footage of "Drunkatron" being murdered by the Badgeless.

IDW - Transformers: Windblade #7

Title: The Will of the Few
Written by: Mairghread Scott
Art by: Corin Howell
Colours by: Thomas Deer with John-Paul Bove
Letters by: Tom B. Long
Editor: John Barber
Plot
Windblade and Starscream return to Cybertron from Eukaris, having secured their place on the Council of Worlds, but Windblade is furious at Starscream for having killed Chela, the Titan. Starscream dismisses her complaints due to him having saved her life, and having secured Eukaris for them. Chromia comforts Windblade over her guilt over "helping" with Chela's death, and they decide to see Metroplex and ask about the last located Colony World they found.
Windblade tells Metroplex about Chela's death, and he forgives her for her part in it, as he knew Chela would never concede to her and Starscream. The Titan then gives Windblade information about the last colony, formed from the Titan Tempo, who was carrying philosophers, and tried to find some new truth to bring back home...
The next day, Starscream and Windblade head to Tempo.

On the hull of Tempo, two members of the crew are guarding the Space Bridge, in case of more Cybertronians coming through, when suddenly it activates, the guards call for back-up. Starscream and Windblade walk through the portal and are confronted by a small army, led by Strika, who don't want Cybertronians on their ship. After a very brief battle, Elita One appears and greets the two newcomers, agreeing to meet with them in her throne room, and explains that their last encounter with Cybertronians was violent.

Going through the ship, Elita explains that the ship is now called Carcer, not Tempo, and tells the newcomers that their goal changed from knowledge to a more militaristic one, but they hold truth as their highest law. She also explains that the ship has been being repaired over the years by using their dead crew members as spare parts, so they can mourn and remember the dead.
Starscream tries to appeal to Elita's war-like nature, by suggesting she adds her army to his, so they can protect and build up Cybertron some more, to maintain it's current peace.
Sadly for Starscream however, Obsidian and Elita reveal that they know Cybertron isn't "peaceful" as Obsidian saw the battle between Optimus Maximus and Devastator on their ship's hull during the Combiner Wars, and believes that Starscream is more likely to try and enslave her people rather than treat them as equals. Worst than that though, she believes he was lying just then, which is a capital offence on Carcer, and orders Strika to execute him.
Windblade steps in, and asks for her to give Starscream leniency for now, and she believes that all the colonies and Cybertron truly do need each other, as all of them have something that the others need, and they can only survive by working as one.

Elita One considers her options, and agrees that Carcer should join the Council of Worlds, and has a representative head to Cybertorn to check it out.
After returning to Cybertron, Windblade learns that Carcer IS NOT a nickname for Tempo, but is the name of another Titan, meaning that despite her words, Elita isn't telling the whole truth about her people. She decides to keep this information a secret for now though.

Two weeks later, Carcer's representatives, Strika and Obsidian sign their names to the charter, and the Council of Worlds is formed. The Combaticons watch the signing on a television, and get angry that Starscream is hiding the fact that Swindle and others were killed for this council to be formed, but they won't let him stay forgotten....

Notes
  • Wait...if Metroplex knew that Chela would be a problem for Windblade and Starscream last issue, then why didn't he warn Windblade?
  • Apparently Engex can be pronounced in different ways, like "tomato" and "potato"
  • It seems like most of the warrior members of the Carcer crew use female character models.
  • Strika's line of "I terminate!" is a reference to her activation code of "TERMINATE" when transforming in Beast Machines.
  • One of the silhouettes of the Carcer crew seems to be based on TFA Sentinel Prime (I won't put him in the character list because it's impossible to tell, but still!)
  • It's revealed that the ship's décor of dead body parts is just the past members of the crew being recycled as the ship is old. The throne that Elita One uses uses the previous commander's body...at least that's the story she's giving us...
  • Seriously, the front cover makes her look quite evil and murdery....
  • More than likely the Carcer crew invaded the Tempo, killed the crew and took their place, maybe using Tempo as repair parts for Carcer.
  • The Carcer crew also appear to have built-in arm cannons and other weapons, like the characters from the Prime cartoon.
  • Despite the previous decision for one representative per planet, as mentioned when Divisiun joined the council, there appears to be 2 reps per planet (except Caminus and Cybertron).
  • The Combaticons are reunited, minus the dead Swindle of course, but he is mentioned through graffiti...could this be due to the upcoming Combiner Wars Combaticons? Hmmm...
  • This is the last issue of the Windblade comic, but the story will continue in 2016 in the rebranded "Till all are one" comic series
  • Depending where this issues falls in continuity, Brawl may have stayed behind on Cybertron following him and Needlenose returning to recruit others to the Jupiter colony.
  • The signing scene appears to resemble a similar Pax Cybertronia signing shown in Dreamwave's unfinished Age of Wrath comic series...let's hope this isn't an omen.....

TFCC - A Common Foe

Writer: Jesse Wittenrich
Layouts: David Reynolds
Art: Josh Burcham
Letters: Jesse Wittenrich
Plot
Following Jhiaxus' ultimatum for the Autobots and Decepticons to surrender to him, or die, the combined forces continue their attacks on the Clone army. The team focus on Sandstorm, who was betraying them from the inside as a clone, however Obsidian reveals that Pyro reported to him that he real Sandstorm was on Earth just 5 days ago, meaning that he knew this Sandstorm was a fake all along! As a result he was able to plant a Mekarach (a spider bot thingie) onto him, to use his Spark energy to send a signal to Earth.

Pyro receives the Mekarach pulse on Earth and begins to send more troops to Cybertron, including several Earth-born ones. The troops arrive and immediately start tearing through the Cybertronian Clones, including the Soundwave clone.
Megaplex, who has been released from the Clone army due to his similarities to Megatron, is plagued by images of the former Decepticon leader, saying that he will use Megaplex to reclaim the Decepticons. However Megaplex fights back and "kills" Megatron, deciding to go after Jhiaxus himself anyway.

Eagle Eye manages to spy Jhiaxus from far away, so they start to head towards him. They manage to break into the facility he's hiding in using Krok's partner Gatoraider to eat through the walls, and starts fighting the Clones inside
Elsewhere, Mirage and Electro fight with Skywarp and his drones, but are saved from certain death by Blue Bacchus and his newly arrived team of Decepticons. Next Octane is pinned down by some Thundercracker Drones and is rescued by Strika, who in turn is rescued by Octane from another attacker.

Serpentor and the others reach Jhiaxus, where Jhiaxus is impressed by Serpentor being made fully by humans, rather than being tainted by Cybertronians, but Serpentor doesn't care, and skewers the Cybertronian with his Serpent Sceptre. Next, Nacelle turns up and the Clone Hubcap prepares to execute him, but Jhiaxus stops him, telling him that this is what he wanted, a united Cybertron against a common foe, and as such he surrenders to Serpentor.
However before he can be officially taken away Megaplex turns up and kills Jhaixus. The other Decepticons knock out their would-be leader, telling him they don't need another Megatron.

One week later, on Earth the war has ended, and all the factions sign the Pax Cybertronia, bringing all hostilities to an end. However, elsewhere Sky-Byte has joined forces with the other Predacons and have stolen many of Jhiaxus' clone pods, planning to use them to make their own Predacon army. But they do question by four of them are coloured differently to the others, just as Tarantulas steps out of his tube....

Notes
  • This comic is set immediately after Termination, but before Hoist the Flag. It was released online (only) after Hoist the Flag was released though
  • Despite being heavily outnumbered and overpowered at the end of Termination, the Autobots and Decepticons easily defeat the Clones here! Yay for quick resolutions!
  • The real Autobot Sandstorm is shown using his new Thrilling Thirty toy mold
  • This comic essentially acts as both a quick resolution for the unpopular Machine Wars storyline, and as an advert for the upcoming 3rd series of the Fan Subscription Series.
  • Several of the new characers here also use new bodies based on newer toys too, giving us some potential new exclusives for the future.
  • Serpentor uses a Serpent Sceptre made from the Arms Micron figures Gob 2 and Zad 2 (you could also make a black version using their black repaints I guess)
  • According to Jhiaxus, his whole plan was to unite the Autobots and Decepticons together as a single force to bring peace to Cybertron....I'd say that's just Jhiaxus being a sore loser!
  • The new Decepticons are shown to be fed up of the old ways and war as well, and immediately take down Megaplex despite his plans to reforge the Decepticons as an evil force.
  • Side Burn and Night Racer are still hanging out it seems....Oooooooh!!
  • Scourge is shown in his Wings of Honour toy character model, this seems very out of place due to his Generations toy having been released since then (and it being used for Serpentor's body model too)
  • This story shows Sky Byte joining forces with the existing Decepticon Predacons, and forging their new faction. It also shows the births of Slapper and Night Scream (but no Gas Skunk) and also shows the births of Tarantulas and the Tripredacus Council, from strange differently coloured stasis tubes.
  • We're shown here that Hubcap and Sandstorm are both still alive...WHY THE HELL DID JHIAXUS CLONE THEM?!?!

Plot
The golden age of Cybertron has ended thanks to a war by Jhiaxus' army of clones. One day, Thundercracker and his drones encounter a group of what they assume are Empties, but are quickly revealed to be Obsidian, Strika and several members of their team. The group quickly take down Thudnercracker's drones and take Thundercracker himself prisoner. During the fight, the pacifist Sandstorm accidentally kills one of the drones, and seems a bit distraught.

Six days earlier, Hoist is informed by Rewind that Optimus has been left in a coma following an attact by what seems to be Decepticons, as a result several other Autobots are promoted to City Commander status and all govern their own area on Cybertron and have their own troops to command.

Back in the present, Strika beats up Thundercracker to get information out of him, but Sandstorm stops her, he and Hoist then manage to get him to cooperate by basically saying that if he doesn't then Strika will just annihilate him, especially since it'll be a seath trap anyway.
In Iacon meanwhile Megaplex watches over the damaged city and discusses with Starscream about how both of them should be wary of becoming like their originators, as Jhiaxus wouldn't like it. Skywarp appears and reports that Thundercracker was captured by some Autobots, meaning they can't just bomb them, or he'll die as well. Megaplex seems happy with this as he wanted to get his hand's dirty anyway.

4 days ago, Electro and Mirage were captured by Clamp Down's troops for trying to smuggle illegal weapons and materials between Cyebrtron and Earth, Clamp Down says he'll let them go if they admit it was all Pyro's idea. As they argue with him that they need to be prepared due to Sizzle's report (thanks to his vision) about the war, the sirens start to go off. Mirage off-handedly agrees to Clamp Down's claims, and grabs a gun from him, however when he reaches the window he's shocked to see Jhiaxus' Cybertronian army bombing the city. Within half a day, the Cybertronians have devastated Cybertron's cities and taken over the most of the planet.

In the present Obsidian's team meet with Mirage and Electro outside Iacon, where Obsidian reveals he took the long route to allow them to see Thundercracker with them, to stop them from just bombing them, however just then Megaplex appears with a large portion of his army to counter them.
Obsidian faces off against Megaplex, all the time commenting on how he's just like Megatron himself, much to his annoyance and denial, meanwhile the rest of the Transformers and clones fight amongst themselves.

During the fight Megaplex starts to lose it, and goes all out against Obsidian, which causes Sandstorm to feel a lot of pain, he then suddenly chan ges his personality and attacks Obsidian, revealing himself to be a clone of the original Sandstorm, who was placed in their ranks to try and make them surrender or leave the planet in peace.
Jhiaxus suddenly appears with more of his troops and offers Megaplex and all the non-clones the same choice - leave Cybertron, or be terminated...

To be Continued....

Notes
  • It's not clear when this is set in continuity, it really depends on how long it takes for Jhiaxus to make a new batch of clones really.
  • Soundwave is shown to be in his larger body rather than the G-Bot version. So either this is ANOTHER Soundwave clone, or the smaller one got a new body or something.
  • Octane's friendship with Sandstorm is brought up as the reason he joined Obsidian's crew
  • the Skywarp clone seems to have the original's teleporting powers
  • Mirage "betraying" Pyro to Clamp Down is probably a joking reference towards his character's often perceived treachery in past fiction.
  • The group who attacked Optimus, who Rewind assumes are Decepticons are most likely Jhiaxus' forces...or another unknown faction.
  • It's sort of implied here that Override is killed whilst contacting Backstreet and the others, but he reappears later on.
  • Despite him being in Jhiaxus' new faction, Megaplex calls his forces "Decepticons". This could be because of his Megatron codes..but that doesn't excuse the insignias on him still...
  • Megaplex's fusion cannon seems to be based on his IDW stealth bomber body's cannon, but recoloured to match his own body - His toy does have a peg hole that can fit the stealth bomber body's weapon as well!
  • Sandstorm pretending to be the original Sandstorm could have been inspired by Sideswipe doing the same in A Flash Forward.
  • Hauler and Zoom-Zoom look like they could be future toy exclusives using the Grappler and RTS Jazz molds.
