Comic Plot

Starscream has been sent to Fiesole in Italy to stop the Autobots from recovering an old document that depicts the Ark's crash that was found there, and thus learning of Sentinel's survival etc too early. Soundwave helps him to sneak into the church where it's being held and the Autobots are about to unearth it.

Starscream attacks Sideswipe from behind and knocks him out, then he turns his attention to Bumblebee, knocking him through a wall as well. Optimus and Starscream begin their fight, whilst the archaeologist goes to uncover the artifact he found earlier.

Optimus manages to knock down Starscream, then helps up Bumblebee. Starscream tricks the two Autobots into following him up a tower, when he causes the tower to collapse and he flies out, trapping the two Autobots under rubble.

Starscream goes to the human and takes the Ark document and leaves, stating that he'd kill the Human too if he wasn't already so low on power.

Later the Autobots are all repaired and recovered, and wonder what Starscream could have possibly wanted

Comic Notes

• This is the first of the short lived DOTM comic series, it only lasted 4 issues sadly
• Very oddly, none of the new characters from DOTM, or the toy line appears in this series, with Sentinel Prime only getting a mention here.
• The title may be a reference to the term "Fight of Flee"
• Annoying huge cover....
• Some random drawn images of some of the newer characters like Sentinel or Shockwave appear in this comic, but never appear in the comics, so these little images must have been created extra for features etc.
• The Moon appears in a lot of panels in this comic...perhaps it's foreshadowing to something..
• Starscream actually wins a fight!!
• Soundwave is in orbit in this issue
