Comic Plot

On his way to meet with Ratchet, Ironhide is abducted by some aliens who want to know where the Allspark is as it is rightfully theirs. The aliens probe Ironhide's mind and makes him relive an event from his past.
In the past Ironhide leads a team against a Decepticon fortress to rescue a captured Autobot. They easily storm the place after Ironhide realises that it's mostly unmanned.
Ironhide wakes up and immediately attacks the aliens, who are revealed to be hiding behind some giant holograms, and that the aliens in charge of them merely took claim of this derelict ship. Ironhide leaves, but wonders who the ship originally belonged to, and what connection it has to the Allspark

  • Longview is rescued by Ironhide's team, this was the only Real Gear toys mold to get an appearance in media for a long time.
  • The Aliens with a connection to the Allspark are never identified
  • Ironhide slots his left cannon into his right one...something that isn't seen that often outside of Titan
  • Strongarm and Skyblast later appear in the alternate reality storyline.
